What activities does the organization engage in? How is the organization structured? How are members motivated to work on behalf of the organization? We will consider these questions by primarily relying on economic analysis but also take up some of the issues from the vantage of other social sciences.

We actually covered on the topic of servers' performance and their pay in my other classes. We studied an article that compared the tipping culture across the globe and the article found that the quality varies and it depends mostly on the customs of the country. Generally, serving quality goes up when it's established that server either expect tips or do not, and quality goes down when the expectation of server are not clear.
